A. We have been gaining traction within the broker community over recent years. Since ObamaCare was passed, we’ve seen a large influx of brokers looking for a value-add solution to help retain clients as well as build their books of business. Our P2P software allows brokers to show their clients savings directly resulting from the use of the system.
A. Yes, and many, many more. Unlike traditional carriers or ASO-based solutions, WellNet does not look at just the major areas of risk. Rather by using co-morbidity, we can understand total and individual risk and apply care management from an individual patient perspective addressing all of their issues and risks instead of a standard set of just a few major areas.
A. We charge a management fee and the broker arranges the compensation with the client. WellNet is happy to suggest compensation implemented by other clients.
A. Traditionally, it has been difficult to work with competing PBMs if the client is solely looking to use WellNet’s software. This is why we are our own PBM, because it ensures that we have access to a daily feed of claims information that is loaded into our HIPAA-compliant platform in addition to having the lowest net cost on prescription drugs.
A. Yes, We currently have clients that have that exact set-up. Prior to implementation, we work with the Carrier/TPA to set up an ongoing feed that is updated multiple times per day ensuring that members’ deductable payments are accurate and accounted for. This ensures that both medical Rx deductibles are combined resulting in no over payments by members once the deductable level has been met.
A. Yes, using P2P’s analytic software, member count per condition can be tracked which allows precise engagement strategies to be put in place, reaching only those individuals with said conditions.
A. Yes, information is shared on a de-identified (aggregate) bases.
A. We receive daily feeds from the vendors. When a member visits a pharmacy to fill their prescription, the Rx information is fed directly back into the system at 4 a.m. the next day so P2Par users can see the most accurate and up-to-date data.
