WellNet Healthcare Expands its Business, Adds Additional Office Space and New Hires in Bethesda

WellNet Healthcare, a Bethesda-based healthcare technology company, is growing.

Bethesda, MD – Monday, January 11, 2010 — WellNet Healthcare, a Bethesda-based healthcare technology company, is growing.

The company has taken an additional 1,094 square feet adjacent to its existing 3,000 square foot office located in the heart of downtown Bethesda at the JBG owned 4733 Bethesda Ave., Artery Plaza West. The additional space will house several of the company’s top sales executives, including new sales associate, Scott Eglinton. Eglington’s professional sales career has been deep in the banking and financial services industries, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank and AIG, with an emphasis on equities trading, pension management and lending.

In addition to Eglinton, WellNet has also brought on three additional Account Managers and three additional Care Managers who are housed in their Philadelphia service center.

“WellNet is excited to start 2010 with the inevitable prospect of growth that both new space and hires bring,” says Keith Lemer, WellNet Healthcare president. “Now more than ever we are poised to best serve the business community with our Healthcare Performance Management (HPM) software solution.”

In the next six months, WellNet has plans to hire up to six additional sales executives and four additional Care Managers.

In total, the privately-held company has a more than 50 employees working throughout the country in eight different locations including New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA and San Antonio, TX.

To further aid in WellNet’s growth, the company plans to open an office in the San Francisco Bay area the end of the first quarter of 2010.
